Serra welcomes on Saturday the March 4 ports Serra Tot natura, a non-competitive bycicle touring event, which will leave at 8.30 in the morning from the Municipal Sports Center. Around 300 cyclists will meet to travel 120 kilometers in a march organized by the Sports Club Podium with the collaboration of the city council of Serra.
The march begins and ends in the town of Serra an druns through the Sierra Calderona and Espadán. The competition is a challenge for mountain lovers. The march will cross four ports: Oronet, La Nevera, Eslida and La Frontera. The total distance is 120 km, with acumulative slope of 2093 metersand a descent of 1857 meters. The organisation of the march offers to its participants drinks and food, as in any other cyclist competition. One of the greatest highlights is the ascent to the famous mountainpass of La Frontera, rated first-class by bicycle touring lovers,that will mark the end of the march.
After the arrival, the participants will return to the Serra SportsCenter, where massage and recovery areas will be installed. This year the sports event coincides with the celebration of the XIV Edition of the Calderona Fairandthe XLVIII Edition of the Cherry Day.
