We will walk, learn about bats and enjoy good day and night views.
We will have the opportunity to observe the departure of the bats that live in the Soterraña cave. This cave houses an important colony of bats with up to five different species. To ensure its conservation, access is restricted by fencing in order to avoid disturbance.
From the meeting point in the parking lot of the recreational area Llano de Lucas (Portacoeli, Serra), located at the crossroads CV-238 in Náquera/Serra, with CV-331 Bétera-Portacoeli, we will leave with the cars, to the route that will take us walking in the surroundings of the Cueva Soterraña; right there, while waiting for the night to fall, we will talk a little about the bats and have dinner to wait for the departure of the bats.

Meeting point and time: At 19:30 hours. Portacoeli parking lot at the junction of the Bétera-Portacoeli CV-331 road with the Portacoeli-Náquera/Serra CV-238 road.

Information of interest: from the meeting point we drive to the vicinity of the cave along a forest road for about 3 kilometers. From there we will walk along a stretch of trail to access the entrance of the cave.
Important: We will have dinner on the mountain. It is recommended to bring appropriate footwear, water, flashlight and dinner. There is no drinking water point during the tour. At the end of the activity it will be necessary to use flashlights on the way back to the cars.
