The swimming pool of the Héctor Catalá Municipal Sports Center will reopen its doors this Saturday, June 26 until September 5. The venue will be open from Monday to Sunday and extends hours by one more hour, from 11.00 to 20.00. The council has decided to reopen the pool after it was closed last year due to covid19.


The opening of the facilities (pool and picnic area) will be held with a limited capacity of 75% and will not require a prior appointment. The anticovid health regulations must be complied with at all times.


“We have made a great effort to be able to open the pool this year and offer citizens a service of the highest possible quality,” says Sports Councilor Inma Bartual. Bartual has returned to visit the municipal swimming pool to see first-hand the work on setting up the space. “During the last weeks we have worked intensively on the reopening. The works and services staff has done a great job. We open the pool doors, but we can’t let our guard down. We have to be aware that the virus is still there ”, he added.


Ticket prices remain the same as the last season before the pandemic: € 1.80 per adult, adults without bathroom, € 1.00, children up to 12 years, pensioners, retirees and people with functional diversity, € 1.00. In addition, vouchers for 31 bathrooms can be obtained for € 20 for children and € 40 for adults.


Large families have a special price: adults € 0.90 and girls and boys € 0.50. There is a voucher of 31 bathrooms for these families of € 15.
