The event will be held on May 31 and June 1
Serra already has a graphic image of the 19th Fira de la Calderona and 53rd edition of the Dia de la Cirera to be held on May 31 and June 1. The Valencian graphic designer Modesto Granados has been commissioned to create a poster with a clean and symbolically clear visual proposal.
The poster features two cherries, with different shades of red and a dark green typography that reinforces the link with the natural landscape of the Sierra Calderona.
The mayoress of Serra, Alicia Tusón, values very positively the work presented. “This year we have decided to commission the designer Modesto Granados the poster of the main tourist showcase of Serra and other villages of the Calderona territory. Modesto has already worked on the tourist image of the municipality with the graphic image of the routes, web and knows perfectly our line of work, “says Tusón.
The poster design presents a coexistence of graphic and textual elements that symbolize the union between the Fira de la Calderona and the Dia de la Cirera, showing how this product of local relevance in the past becomes the axis of a celebration that promotes the cultural, gastronomic, tourist and landscape identity of the villages of the Calderona.
