The olive tree has been associated with Mediterranean culture since the dawn of humanity. Our ancestors knew how to take advantage of all theresources that this magnificent tree provided them, especially the oil obtained by pressing its fruits, the olives.
We will take a guided tour around the town, trying to identify the different varieties of local olive tres. Afterwards, we will visit the Oil Museum, a traditional oil mil that has been recently restored, and we will end the morning with a visit to the Agrícola de los Montes de Serra Cooperative, where we will be able to see how oil is extracted today.
