On December 15, 2019, a circular hiking route to Sierro is scheduled to celebrate International Mountain Day. El Sierro (737 m), is an emblematic peak of Serra and a place of passage between Camp del Turia, Camp de Morvedre and El Alto Palancia. We will walk old roads and enjoy excellent panoramic views of the mountains of Valencia and Castellón.
The United Nations General Assembly designated 11 December as the “International Day of the Mountains”. The mountains are important for young people is the theme chosen this year for the celebration of the International Day of the Mountains.
Meeting point and time: Serra Municipal Sports Center, 9:00h.
Distance: 10 kilometers
Difficulty: Medium-High.
Uneven 400 meters.
Duration of activity: 5 hours, approximately

NOTE: It is necessary to wear comfortable boots or shoes, warm clothes, water and lunch. Photo camera and binoculars are recommended. It is a route with some difficulty because of the distance traveled and the unevenness. If the weather conditions are considered unfavourable for the performance of the activity, the Natural Park will inform the registered of the cancellation of the activity.
