A new edition of the Pumpkin Serra Gastronomy Days is here, which this year celebrate their fifth edition with the traditional contests that have already become a must-see fall event in the municipality.
On Monday, October 19, the VI Professional Contest for the Vicente Granero Pumpkin Stew – Villa de Serra will take place, where professional chefs will showcase their talent with this beloved, traditional dish.
On Saturday, October 24, the 5th Vicente Granero – Villa de Serra Popular Pumpkin Stew Contest will take place, along with the 5th Pumpkin Decorating Contest, activities that will fill the town with flavor, color, and creativity.
Also on the 24th, there will be an evening of tastings, theater for the little ones, a musical performance, and a morning glass bottle recycling workshop.
Special offers on products from local merchants always extend a few weeks beyond the festival. Check with local businesses.
Registrations will be open, always by pre-registration, in person or online, until:
– Professional Pumpkin Stew Contest: until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 14, 2026
– People’s Pumpkin Pot Contest: until 2:00 PM on Friday, October 23, 2026
– Pumpkin Decorating Contest: until 2:00 PM on Friday, October 23, 2026
Interested individuals can now register at the Serra Town Hall during regular business hours or through the municipal e-government portal.
